Aluminium curtain wall systems
We manufacture columnar and spandrel-beam facades, structural and
semi-structural facades and facades with pointwise mounted single or
composite glass. The facades can also gain a unique character by using
"horizontal line" and "vertical line" systems. With these systems we use
in most cases windows with "hidden leaf" (when the window is closed the
frame and window leaf is not visible from outside).
Pillars and spandrel beams of facade structure can have various shapes
e.g.: rectangle, T-bar, T-bar with glass core or double tee bar. It is
also possible to replace the aluminum structure with steel wire strands,
to which window panes are fixed pointwise. With this solution the facade
looks exceptionally lightweight, but it requires special preparation of
floors and foundation.
Curtain walls are manufactured as self-supporting facades or supported
by load-bearing construction (steel or wooden). We also make curtain
walls with fire resistance EI-30 and EI-60.
One of very important elements of curtain wall is the sealing system and
water drainage system, carrying water away from drains. Therefore we use
EPDM membranes of the highest quality made by American company CARLISLE,
which ensure excellent insulation and sealing durability.
